walking through newcastle yesterday afternoon when i saw a car being driven by a old man of the islamic faith.
nowt unusual there i hear you cry except he was on the wrong side of the road driving through a no car lane and trying to drive the wrong way around a roundabout.
and as if that wasnt enough he was being followed by a police riot van.

wanna know the funny thing?

THE POLICE DID FLICK ALL ABOUT IT

I watch cars break all sorts of rules in front of coppers and they do nothing. Its like they are scarred to do their job for the paperwork involved. Or unless it involves a rapid chase through housing estates with the possibility of mowing down a pensioner going to the post office.
Police work now days is sitting in front of a camera and nicking people for traffic offences not real world catching criminals, reason being we all need to drive/ride and we are easy prey. Not alone in being over taxed and then our insurance ( which is taxed as well as the fuel duty) they then fine us for any reason possible and know we will pay up.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
