has anyone ever been to marmaris in turkey?
we are goint here on our honeymoon in august this year and just wondered if anyone had any local info ie restaurants, sight seeing and the like

any info would be much appreciated.

i went quite few yr back ...very nice place food def good ....doent b put off by what seems to b over freindly restrant owners n shops thats just the way they are ....oh yes its still very cheap compared to europe too

been hearin and reading online bout a turkish gut called mr fish who acording to my sources has a shop or stall selling trips out and sightseeing tours outside a hotel called sidero which just happens to be where we are staying does anybody know of him or been on his excursions?

i'm sure u will have a great time, but I can't tell u anything about the place as I have never been on account of me been partly Greek. I know I know its not my row but the Greeks and Turks don't get on so I won't go on principle. Probably the same reason I won't set foot inside Germany either lol

didny know you were part greek roebs
bet you never go on the north side of cyprus either
i used to live near the border in cyprus and went on the turkish side a few times when growin up its a completely different world
