i hate it when ya get idiots on the road as i was driving down one road toward some traffic lights there is a side road next to the lights and as i was pullin up to the lights some idiot came bombing out the side road in a ***FILTERED WORD*** in focus (hate them) and almost hit me. i had no option but to get the ***FILTERED WORD*** out the way straight thru the red light was the only way when u dont have time to think. scared out my wits im going thru the junction almost got hit by a monster of a wagon. the focus didnt hit anyone and just drove off like nothing happened.
at the time of all this happening i was thinkin about how great its gonna be when i pass my test, thank ***FILTERED WORD*** im still here to pass me test. tho it would be the best wa to go to the grave [on a bike] but id rather live abit first.
so to all those that drive a car or a bike for that matter, if you do it like a ***FILTERED WORD*** and have no care for anyone else on the road then go to ***FILTERED WORD*** in hell a ***FILTERED WORD*** in tossers.
ahhhhh thats better

See my post in martins thread for my worst experience.
OK....funniest.........
Me and my mate travelling on a road that i knew, and he didnt.
There is a sharp humpback bridge along it and at 60mph,the bike will get the wheel well up.
I was in front a little so over I went, wheel in the air.He knew nowt about the bridge, hits it at maybe 70-80,I looked in the mirror and his bike was vertical and he is trying his hardest to shut the throttle off to get it down, lol
We stopped up the road and he was shaking from the adrenaline, lol
Scared him a littl but he enjoyed it....so we went back and had another go,lol

ridin through newbury towards pro bike yamaha went over the hump back bridge a tad too quick front wheel came up bout 3-4 foot not much i admit but i smashed me crown jewels on the landing.
sat at the side of the road for bout half a hour nearly in tears when i got back on the bike i noticed i had popped the fork seals.
not a good day (made me mates laugh though)

My worst, probably when i was 17 with my brand new 125 and polishing the wheels i had a brain wave, bike on main stand and wrap cloth around hand ( yer yer i know most of you know this). Start engine and polish wheel, slight problem thereafter, cloth gets caught in chain and sprocket, hand gets pulled and thumb (well half of it) ripped off.

One of the funniest, same bike despatch riding on it, had lost keys so a fellow DR took me on a job as we would be coming back past my house and i could get the spare key.
Got to Colnbrook ( early base for DHL when they 1st started, christ i helped them start up here , fool) Anyways it was peeing down as we hit the river bridge it was well flooded and a tipper lorry went past at 40 ish, we were drenched everypart of us was soaked thru (bear in mind we both were wearing belstaff waxed gear) and all we could do was get off the bike and fall about laughing. All to earn a fiver! Then again we were earning 500 a week at 17 being DR`s.

Another good one, 1st time to Box Hill and seeing it as a "biker" going to Rykers and ordering a 1/2lb chilli burger and a tea! Thats when Rykers was just a large caravan in the car park. Then up the "zig zag" to the top for another tea.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming

One comes to mind right off. I signed up for the state safety rider course a few years back. Had never been in the drivers seat on a biker before. It's a 3 day class, 4 hours of classroom work and two 8 hour days on the outdoor course. The class was held in the middle of April here in Ohio. It was extremely cold. The final day of the (outdoor) class it was 36*(fahrenheit), rained part of the day and then the rain turned into sleet and eventually snow. Nothing like teaching new riders to ride a bike and then have nature throw that kind of stuff into the mix! My hubby ran out to buy me a rainsuit, then extra gloves, etc... We were all miserable.

Uh...I meant 'bike.' (That is sort of funny, though!) Oops. :)
