Does anyone on the forums own a 2 stroke bike?
Been years since I was on one,the last time was a tzr250 back in 93-94.
Had a notion to maybe buy a good 2stroke latley.
Would really like a ns400r honda but expensive and rare as hens teeth nowadays.
Any body know a good alternative,250-400 cc?
The only one I wouldnt buy is a rgv.Good bike, but,a little too race oriantated for my tastes.
Suggestions?Wouldnt mind a tzr,especially the blue,white,yellow color scheme

i'd love a nice rs250 honda to race but for the roads i think nowadays its just to expensive to run a 2st, i found that if i was to get another road bike i wouldn't mind an rvf400, same as what i race, it handles top notch, goes ok for an old girl but its the noise that sells it, the only bad thing about it that it might only be a 1995 400 but it weighs more (in standard trim) than a new gsxr 1000 or R1!!!!

I just happen to know where there is a very nice R reg, 1998 RVF 400 for sale!

Its completely original and has both original and carbon can! Low mileage (34,000 kilometres) and a careful lady owner so its not been ragged! Shes looking for around 3 grandish.

Ive still got the Kmx 200, good fun bike, great on and off the road, not loads of power but tons of fun.
How about looking for a good YPVS350 or even a TDR250 if you could find one.
The TDR is a wild thing and not a cramped riding position either or the RD is just plain fun on wheels.
Good luck !
