I had intended to mention this the other week but didn't get round to it ...
The BBC South East Sports Personality of the Year winner is:
Tim Reeves - Sidecar Champion
Tim and his passenger Patrick Farrance finished more than 50 points clear of their nearest rivals this year. Tim won all ten races to win the British Championship. He also won the World Championship for the third time this year, as well as the annual sidecar burnup title for the fifth time
He also won the Team award with his sidecar partner Patrick Farrance
Oh and also it was good to see that two of the four finalists up for this award were from motorcycle sport, the other being Nicki Pedersen - Speedway
Nicki had his best ever season for the Eagles averaging over ten points per meeting. The 30 year-old claimed the World Championship for the second time, winning four of the 11 races. Nicki was also the Elite League Riders Champion this year.
