Hey Ya'll ! It was Thanks Giving holiday weekend here, and I had a nice ride planned. Went out bright and early friday morning after a few cups of coffee, checked my valves, and made sure everything was tight. Kicked her to life. Tinkered with thar f--ken Amal carb like everytime I ride her, and she was purring like a kitten.
Put on my leathers. Took her off the centerstand, and the rear tire was flat. Got undressed. Pulled her apart. Patched the tube, and put her back tegether. Got dressed again. Took her off the stand, and flat tire. Got undressed. Pulled her apart, and found I pinched the tube. Patched the tube again, and put her back tegeter. Got dressed for a third time. Took her off the stand, and flat.....
Was totally disgusted with my self. Loaded her on my truck, and took off for the shop. All the shops were closed for the holiday. Took her home, and loaded up my dirtbike.
Got out to the country. Unloaded her, and started tearing up the dirt. Was about two miles from my truck, and she died. Had to hide her under some tumbelweeds, and walked back to get the truck.
Well, I took her home, and found a broken cam chain. This just wasn't my weekend.
