cheers for asking, to be honest only been out twice this year because of work, but i went to Thruxton at the beginning of Oct, it was ok, i finished 24th and 25th in my two races out of 36, should have done better but it was wet in morning practice and damp in first race which made it fun cos id never ridden on wets b4, bit strange though when it dries out and the bikes moving around.
Other time was at Mallory at the Race of the Year, numb nuts here decided to enter the Alamo Trophy, which is basically full of 1000cc and 600cc bikes, theres a few ex superbikes and a lot of fast lads, but not to worry, in practice i was 20th out of 26, a second faster than a guy behind me on a fireblade. But in the race i finished last which was inevitable really, but my fastest time was only half second slower than the guy in front on a blade. Second race was better cos it was 400's and 600's, i finished 22 out of 33 and finished 5th in the 400's which was good.
So i reckon with time on the bike i can do well in EMRA's 400 class next year and hopefully get rid of my novice jacket and upgrade my license.
im off to do a track day at Oulton Park in a week or so to have a bit more track time then hopefully going to Spain in Feb to do some more testing
