Good mornin to u all. Hope you have a great day. Guess its time for an update, I was in Ireland/England for 2 weeks, came back and got chewed out by Roeby and rightly so, for not letting you guys know I was there. Took a couple trips to Jordan and will be going again beginning of November.

I am retiring (215 days to go) from here but my wife still has about 5 years to go and so we have been busy looking for future places to live. We have bid on places like Ankare Turkey, Harare Zimbabwa, Copenhagen Denmark, Asuncion Paraguay, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Singapore,and Washington. We may have already lost our first choice, Harare, but the others are still on the table. Bobbie, my wife, is now concentration on Washington. I had the good luck to stay out of that place for my whole career, now that I going to retire, she bids on it..go figure! I have to admit its a high profile job though and will be great for her career. She is going to be handling the logistics for travel of a high ranking State Department person. Its supposd to be a 3 year gig, then hopfully we can get back to Africa, South Africa to be precise.

One good thing about being in the States is we will be closer to my Mom who is getting on in age, but don't tell her. I can also get back into the saddle and customize my bike the way I want it.

Right now we are just waiting for someone to come back and with a positive yes.
