well we have only gone and got ourselves another long haired German Shepard. Her name is Jess and she is 4 and a half months old. We had no intention of getting another one but this one like Jake needed a home. So can everyone do me a favour ......... if ever you know of a dog that needs a home don't tell me!!
I will post some pics of her when i get chance but if u have seen a pic of Jake then she is exactly the same only smaller at the mo (we were going to call her mini me lol)
Jake has been so good with her he lets her do anything she wants to him, i hope it continues.

we r doing well with the old toilet training with Jess 4 nights now without an "accident" yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiippppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeee!!
anyone got any ideas on how to slow her eating down she is like a bloody whirlwind, i have never seen anything eat so quick in my life. i swear she could strip a cow in 2 mins.

congrats on the new pup roe. dont worry about the speed she eats at, pups do that , just be glad she eats properly as some of em can be right fussy little buggers.
is jake a full male? if so remember to get him done at some point unless in a couple of years you fancy a house full of gsd pups. she wont be a playmate for him forever lol.

we got our dog done last year but he still likes to 'shag' a leg or the cats so it doesn't entirely stop them, a female dog is always harder to do as it's a bigger op for them and they have to have half their side shaved but if you can put up with the blood everywhere for a few days each month (oh god said wrong thing) oh and the male dogs after her each month i would suggest getting the female done and early, remeber it can get pregnant like now from jake!!

get jake done as that will be cheaper. a hystorectamy for the bitch will cost considerably more and there is always the chance of complications in a major op.
having said that the prospect pf having a house full of puppies aint that bad lol and you can always sell the pups on yer looking at a minimum of 100 quid a pup without papers, major hassle though and for about 9 weeks a lot of hard work. all in all a lot easier to get jake to the vet.

its £110 for either the bitch or the dog at our vets. Jake isn't too sure what his bits are for he has never even tried to shag anything.
