Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming

50 years or so ago my grandad used to walk me to school [infants] and on the way we'd stop off at a little shop and he'd buy me a wagon wheel. Huge great things they were, far bigger than those excuse for a wagon wheel we get today AND they had jam in em.
One morning I was stood in my favourite corner of the school yard eating my wagon wheel when the head mistress of the school marched into the yard, blew her whistle and screamed at me to "STOP EATING THAT BISCUIT, COME HERE, GIVE IT TO ME"...... 'like f*** will I' I thought [or something like that, I was only about 5] and ran for it cramming the wagon wheel in my gob as fast as I could and running as fast as my fat little legs would carry me. I climbed up on top of the school coke bunker [thats coke as in smoke-less fuel, not coke as in snort up the hooter stuff] by the time the school caretaker had dragged me down to be 'abused' both verbally and physicaly [shouted at and slapped round the head] by the headmistress I'd eaten my wagon wheel so stuff her and her daft rules. [SWEETS, SNACKS OR ANY OTHER FOOD WILL NOT BE CONSUMED IN THE SCHOOL PLAYGROUND] I was made to 'stay in' after school for a month after that but so what? I got to eat my wagon wheel and all the other ones grandad bought me every sodding morning, don't think for a minute that old bag prevented me from scoffing em. hehehehehehe
................
thanks grandad, you died when I was 13 and at 57 I still miss you. hope we meet up in heaven one day soon and if God has a vending machine that sells wagon wheels I buy YOU one.

r we talking about the wagon wheels covered in chocolate? if so i hate those things.

for one of our puddings in school dinners we used to have what they called wagon wheels but it was just plain biscuit and chocolate biscuit swirled together ..... now they were nice.
