when was the last time u sat and watched any of your home movies from years ago? well we sat and watched some yesterday as we thought it was time to transfer them off VHS on to DVD so they don't get ruined.
its horrid watching yourself don't u think? but its great to see your kids again when they were babies, it seems like another life ago.
well i guess we will be doing it for awhile as we transfered 3 yesterday and hardly made a dent in the collection lol

We have just done that got ours converted to DVD and yes I agree it was lovely seeing my daughter as a baby again. One was of our wedding too lol that was quite funny. But the one that always brings a tear to my eye is one with our Boxer dog we used to have bless him.... still good memories and I'm really glad we have them to look back on.

My parent's never made any movies of my sister and I when we were kids so I avoid that embaressment. My dad used to put a tape on every Sunday lunch though so that we could talk about our week and record it, I managed to find one that still played when we were sorting his stuff after he died a few years back and it was definitely amusing to listen to again, hearing how my sister and I have grown up in our voices. We sorted through all the old photo's to which was cool, there was some excellent ones of us as kids and one I remember of Dad with his long hair and beard which Rebecca and I kindly put into lots of little plats for him and took his photo!!

My mother has a collection of super 8 movie`s, not that i want to watch them lol. I have some stuff on vhs of my sons and a few dvd`s. Do you really want to embarrass the poor mites as they grow up?
Got a great shot of my youngest falling down the side of a lake in Cumbria, cannot wait till he brings his first g/f home pmsl.
You know its got to be done!
muwhahahahahaha

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
