The bloody thing woke me up very late this morning!!!
hmmmm the owner is lucky i didnt put a hammer to it! lol
Actually it was either in or just outside the pub id been in ... as i said to its owner ... i wasnt sure (was a bit drunk last night! lol) ... but she is a familiar face in that pub so im in for a few drinks next time i see her :o) ...
To be honest the comment she made to me was that "it had restored her faith in people" ... now id say it was worth returning it just for that comment ... cause ive lost faith in most people on this planet! so making someone feel good was kinda cool :o)
(by the way i didnt use it appart from me calling a couple of numbers on it to find its owner ... tut tut tut @ Mr Ox!!!)

i lost mine in the woods one day when i was walking the dog. after i realised i had lost it i rang it up and a lady answered, said she had just found it and gave me her address to go and collect it. must admit i was very gratefully. so there a few people left who will return things when the find em. I found someones wallet at the cashpoint a few months ago, i looked through it to try and find a contact number, there was something in it that told me where he worked so i called them and he came to the office to collect it. he couldn't believe someone had actually gone to the trouble to give it back.

i found a mobile and a bus ticket to london when i lived near bristol a few years ago
turned out the guy that owned it was homosexual and his boyfriend had pushed him off the cliff top where i found the stuff.
his body turned up the next day and when i handed the phone and ticket to the police they arrested me for his murder

Well its nice to see honesty is alive and kicking. While I was in Cirencester and having a coffee in Costa's yesterday I found a valid credit card on the set. After asking in shop if it was anyones I handed it in at the local Nat West who was card issuer and no I didnt run up a bill on internet before you ask. I just hope someone would do the same for me

DVLA sent someones driving license to my house by mistake once. I posted it to the address on the license and a couple of days later I got a card with a £20 M&S voucher in it. How cool is that? I spent it in the wine section.
