So what you all up to?
I'm just having a relaxing weekend with some nice wine (no change there then!)
Went clothes shopping today (grrrrr!) and of course what I wanted I couldn't get but managed to spend a shed load on the daughter! Typical huh!

Just sitting in the middle of me bedroom, as the walls are drying with the 1st coat of paint.
God i hate filling and sanding, not like it was needed but if ya gonna do it right!!!!!!
Tomorrow top coat and hit the woodwork in , now I think about it, what colour?
Walls are in "warm beige" , a red gloss for the skirting and door frame sounds good, could be a nice contrast to the wooden floor.
Suggestions?

Either go for a nice coffee colour on the wood or stick with the good old classic WHITE!!! boring i know but it always looks clean and smart and classy

oooh Oxo you the new lawrence llwellyn Bowen now LOL I went to watch my grandson play soccer for under 10s yesterday he his team lost 3-0 but he was man of the match. This morning I coached our under 11's in their first ever league game in which my grandson also played they won 7-5 and he scored 5 goals and was voted man of the match - WAY TO GO HARRY :-)

I'm sure it looks lovely Oxy! and well done Ken's grandson!
Ive put some new blinds up in the kitchen and some new light fittings (well I didnt hubby did but you know wat I mean!) and its made a real difference. I even had to clean the windows cos theres more window on show now! lol

been sitting pondering the iminent ownership of a pink harley! (keep getting told its purple, tisnt its bloody pink, leads me to wonder what sort of tw*t paints a bike that colour but i also made sure of a plentiful supply of matt black paint to get rid of the offending pinkness). Im almost wanting someone to outbid me.

hi all, iv had the weekend off work for a change, not been too restful tho, had 5 children here. Did some baking...jam tarts, cake and flapjacks and there aint much left, bloody kids.better make some more tomorrow

all ive done this weekend is clean more cleanng washing and ironing, tidying kids bedrooms, food shopping on a budget, school homeworki'm goin back to work tomorrow for a rest!
