I went out on my bike for a play for a change - after using it every day for work
For some reason I rode like a beginner, I got just about every corner wrong almost s**t my pants once and seemed to have no confidence in myself....maybe its because I used the bike so much and I am used to a certain road or maybe I was just having a bad day....I was overtaken by double decker busses ffs (no it wasnt that bad)

I find that sometimes hun, if you just have a bad day the tiniest thing can start of a catalogue of mishaps and that shakes you for the rest of the ride if you're not careful. You've got to treat any little 'moment' as history as soon as you've survived it or it affects your riding until you give up for the day.
Tomorrow's another day hun, don't think about it too much, that's the mistake I made. I was cakkin me britches (a lincolnshire phrase) about going to Cirencester, a 250 mile round trip, longest I've ever been. Thinking about all that could go wrong. Once I was on the bike I had a ball (apart from when it broke down but we even survived that).
I'm a bit nervy about going to Cadwell because of riding with other bikers, always makes me a bit nervous in case I do something silly but ya gotta just ignore it and enjoy. Stay safe x

well I guess thats true, sometimes one mistake totally throws me and I end up having a really ***FILTERED WORD*** ride suppose it didnt help that there were s**t loads of tractors on the road throwing all their crap all over the place, and then those dosey fookers that are too busy looking at the countryside or yackin away to their passengers, than keeping an eye on the road
