Looks like we are in for good viewing this year :o)

The annual Perseid meteor shower will reach its peak during the early hours of Monday, but it will be visible from Saturday night until Tuesday morning.
This year tho it coincides with a new Moon which will mean darker skies so it'll make better viewing :o)

Theres a link here to a BBC write up on it ...

if your interested that is ...

I've never felt the same about meteor showers since I read "Day of the Triffids".

Mr Ton went out and looked and fed back to me because I was in a state of 'ready for bedness' and couldn't possibly subject the neighbours to that. He said it was very nice. It's been too cloudy since then so I gave up. Will there be another such happening for me to see?
