Quote from today's Daily Mail letters page,

" At a Welsh caravan site, we awoke one morning to find a mountain mist. I went outdoors and stood wondering what to do with the day. Them came a muted roar from the road, rising to a thunderous crescendo when, through the mist , came blazing headlights as 20 motorcycles powered in.
The bikes were black. The riders clad head to foot in black and wearing black, faceless helmets. Their leader gave a signal to switch off engines, leaving an ominous silence as the mist swirled around them.

Good God! I Thought "Its the Welsh chapter of the Hell`s Angels come to give us a going over"

Then to my relief and surprise they took off their helmets and revealed themselves as chatting laughing, middle aged men and women. It was the Vincent HRD Motorcycle Club, touring Wales on their veteran black Shadows-the Rolls-Royce of bikes in their day.

Hell`s Angels ? Perhaps I`d been watching too many TV thrillers.

Maurice Cross, Keynsham, Bristol."

Makes a change for a national paper to make this lead letter on their pages.

Well done MC from Bristol for making the effort.
