Looks like your on a Chinese bad trip. Too many zippers not zipping as zippy as they should?

Now lets see if the cars we drive are safe. Yes Ford has recalled them as well today.
Ford recalling 3.6 million vehicles
Associated Press - August 3, 2007 9:13 PM ET
Corrected Version
Ford recalling 3.6 million vehicles
WASHINGTON (AP) - Ford is recalling 3.6 million passenger cars, trucks, SUVs and vans to address concerns about a cruise control switch. The recall covers more than a dozen vehicle models built from 1992-2004.
Ford says it's responding to concerns about the speed control deactivation switch in the vehicles that is powered at all times. A spokesman says there've been "a few reports of fires" in Crown Victorias.
The same switch has led to previous recalls based on reports of fires.
The recall involves the following vehicles: 1998-2002 Ford Ranger, 1992-1997 Lincoln Town Car, 1992-1997 Ford Crown Victoria, 1992-1997 Mercury Grand Marquis, 1993-1998 Lincoln Mark VIII, 1993-1995 Taurus SHO, 1999-2001 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer.
Also covered are the 2001-2002 Ford Explorer Sport, 2001-2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, 1992-1993 E150-350 vans, 1997-2002 E150-350 vans, 1993 Ford F-Series pickups, 1993 Ford Bronco, 1994 Mercury Capri, 2003-2004 Ford F-150 Lightning, and 1995-2002 Ford F53 motor homes.
Owners with questions about the recall can contact Ford at (888) 222-2751.

China is the industrial powerhouse for all the crap products the west seems never to tire of wanting and as such its just as well that there are consumer groups out there making folk aware there are recalls.
I had read the thing about the toy recall due to red paint in the national press, wasnt too impressed at the manufacturers as they will have been aware that lead in paint is forbiden in the west due to toxicity.
im wondering when they are going to recall the thousands of cheap bikes they produce cos there have been some right horror stories conected to some of them.
on a differnt point chinese workers get paid about 2 - 3 dollars a day and work up to 16 hours a day as well with few if any workers rights. i dont buy chinese products for this reason. and as such wont be too worried about product recalls, but there will be plenty of folk that need to be made aware of just how shoddy some of the products are.!

if yer dont want chinese ***FILTERED WORD*** e,look at the label before ya buy it.my gaffer imports loads of chinese stuff.rubbish.cheap,badly made.the chinese have an appaling human rights record, not just in china.they are currently stripping africa of its resources and treating their workers appalingly.if you dont want to support it,dont buy.its difficult i know cos everything seems to be made in china but depends on how much you care i suppose.if you have the facts you can at least make a more informed decision so maybe its worth finding out a bit first.what we do here affects people all over the world.just a thought.

It's said to say it but even most of the american mills are now overseas. I know this because of having uncles & cousins that have worked in the mills for many a years & now they to have moved out overseas. Yes we to in the US are selling the country down hill. It's sad to say but if you look at most of your leathers, they are made overseas too. The reason is because the EPA enviormental protection agency has closed down all but 2 tannerries in the USA. So those are the 2 leather companies i buy my hides from. Yes i am picky but can you blame me? Why support the countries that are trying to kill us! That has been my thought behind it. As an person who is 1/4 indian as well, i have skined & tanned many a hides the natural ways i was brought up with as well and it doesn't hurt anything or anyone. In fact it feeds the fish.
I thought i'd get on right fast because i'm getting a late lunch. And i thought i'd see what was going on.
