Well the boys enjoyed it, but it leaves a lot to desire. Most of the funnier characters are there but in the background. Nothing from Apoo little or nothing from Krusty.
As expected a 1 3/4 hour "episode" is going to meander a bit and this did so. Plenty of one liners and visuals, although some went over children's heads. It looks like they tried to cross several boundaries here and got a little lost in the translations. Even for a die-hard Simpson's fan its a grind to watch in places.
I wont mention a couple of tricks they used as it would spoil some of the "plot" for you.
As for value for money its a borderline decision, when you take in the tickets and the outrageous price of soft drinks and popcorn its not. When you see two children taking the mickey out of the characters on the way home then its passable.
Overall not the best to come from the Simpson camp, but it will wile away almost two hours for the children.
Another summer coin maker i think.
