So..... this mornin i set off to go sort out some bits and pieces , didnt take long but by the time i had returned home i was roasting, sun was cracking the flags etc...... decided to go and have a long spin out just cos i can. about 5 miles into the run it started to rain a bit.... nowt to me i thought and carried on, i reckoned it wouldnt last long as i could still see the sun shining up the road a bit. got as far as a pub that has recently added a micro brewery and thought id stop off and have a look and also see if they wanted any part time help with it. unfortunatly the pub was shut so i popped across the road and had a pint instead. by the time i had finished the pint the rain had more or less stopped so i figured i would carry on and actually get some miles done. off i rode into the wild blue yonder (oh ok it was the dim and murkey grey yonder ) was having a good time riding about when all of a sudden the bloody skies opened, and not weedy little drizzly type rain but big fook off heavy stuff started, I couldnt see more than a few feet ahead of my front wheel it was so bad. i took shelter in a posh pub hoping that it couldnt keep this level of rain up for long. I sat there nursing another pint (bloody cost £2.70 i nearly died.... i only wanted a drink not to buy bloody shares in the brewery!) it was a miserable kind of place whos name i wont mention cos they dont deserve any publicity and the only folk in there were suited and booted and chatting about portfolio's and such (fook knows?). anyway the rain was getting heavier and i wanst about to have another beer ( not at that bloody price and not to mention the local plods having a crack down on drink driving) so i resigned myself to getting soaked and headed for home.

this has got to be the worst summer i have ever ridden through. normaly i dont care one way or the other about riding in rain as ..well i live in the lake district you work it out. but all this crappy weather is getting me down

biking? sod it i am off to design a custom ark one with its own brewery!

As I was told it was cutomary to get the drinks in, being new on here and all that, thought it would be a good idea at your brewery ark when its built, so just say the word and the drinks are on me lol!!!!!
