I have a relatively new Caberg helmet, the one with the sunglasses that pop down from the top (that's really cool I love that bit). However, after about 40mins it gives me a corking pressure headache just above my right eye. Everywhere else it's a good snugg fit. Any tips? It doesn't seem particularly spongy above the right eye, and I don't want to try anything rash that might break the sunglasses as they tuck up in there.

I'm really happy with the rest of the lid so any tips would be most gratefully received. I'm not liking 'get your old Nolan out of the loft'!!

Check under the foam on helmet where its rubbing and see if there are any bits that stick out as could have happened during making process. If thats Ok you can try wearing a head band and see if that helps or putting a small piece of foam on the other side to see if that relieves the pressure. If its fairly new however take it back and try a new one and see if you get the same problem

i used to have one of these lids and rsv still does, i had the headache thingy too also the wind noise was terrible,
i think its just the make of the helmet, i also found with mine that after a few wears it became too loose and in the end as i turned my head to see at junctions i couldnt see a thing, i sold mine and wouldnt buy another.

If its quite new take it back to the shop and tell them the problem it mght be a bad batch they had in and give you another on warrenty

best bit is the sun visor though

Bear, I like your advice but the funds won't allow! I just bought some shiny new boots and can't afford another lid.

Mr Ton spent some quality time alone with it, squashing it as much as he dare (didn't wan't to break the sun visor bit). I went out in it yesterday and it seemed a bit better.

So, moral of story is, Mr Ton needs to spend time squashing helmets (now does that sound dodgy or what).

Or, I've got a klingon's head, pmsl!!
