lmfao this should be fun.

ok roll on to about 40 mph with you foot on the rear brake......just open the throttle a bit so the wheel comes up off the power, you'll probably get about 15 foot on one wheel....keep doin that till you feel comfy with it then try opening it for longer, remember to keep your foot on the rear brake cos if it comes up too fast press on it.

lol why would you want to learn this on a new bike why not get an old 400 or a 600 and practice on that? atleast if you drop an old bike it wont matter.

dont blame me if you cartwheel your bike down the road and find your self with your head in your hands gutted.

just remember just cos the big kids are doing it,it doesnt make it cool or clever but thats your choice.

When he pops a fork seal on it he'll know why wheelies are a bad idea.

The seals on the upsidedownies on a GSXR are a swine to change and if you can't do it yourself it's going to cost a fortune.

I mean wheelies in films, stunt shows and racing are cool, but a wheelie observed by the plod will get you done for dangerous driving. Even a little wheel hop will get you a tug in some areas.

Like HH said, If you do feel the need to risk rotating your new GSXR round it's back axle cover the brake with your foot.

Hope it don't end in tears for ya mate.

itll screw up your headstock bearings , possibly stretch the bearing holes when you land! balls up yer clutch, chain and sprockets , youll probably fall off hust yourself and somebody else, go for it... by the way, when me n the lads are out, we have trouble keeping the front ends down! (are you thrashing it enough?)

was visiting a bike breakers once a few years ago (when upside down forks were just new fangled things) and spotted what i thought at first glance was a dragster gsxr 1100 it was seriously low and looked as if it had been streched (like a top fuel drag bike). on closer inspection the upside down forks had SNAPPED off at the bottom yoke (eeeeeeek!) this was due to an over enthusiastic wheelie coming back down to earth too hard the breaker informed me. got to say it was only there waiting for an engineer from suzuki to have a look cos they reckoned it had to be a fault with the unit, i never heard of a recall for gixxers so must assume it was a one off .
makes ya think though.

Thanx for the advice lol. I tried it and i almost lost it but i gained control of it. I brought it up a few more times doing a power wheelie in 1st and holding it for like 4 seconds. I noticed when i touch the back brake it wants to fly down, so i give a little gas before i land and it comes out smooth. I have a 125cc that i do wheelies on but nothing of this power. Thanx for the advice I hope i dont bust my ace.
