put petrol in tank, suck on spare pipe, if petrol comes out of other pipes its the vacuum pipe , which lets fuel flow to the carbs.and fits onto one of the balancer take offs on the carbs.

Slingshot fuel taps are vaccuum operated, i.e. they take a vaccuum signal from the inlet tract which opens a diaphragm in the tap. On your rubber inlet rubbers, there should be a 6mm spiggot on cyl no4 rubber. Link this with the vaccuum pipe from the tap.

You can get the tap to work without a vaccuum signal by turning it to the PRI position, you will have no reserve though.

dont do this it can flood your engine , at worst youll get fluid lock and bend a rod, or usually itll just dilute your oil.

yamirider is right about where the pipe goes..... gixxer is right about not using the prime all the time. if you must use the prime position for any length of time you MUST turn the petrol off when you stop! better to not do it and fit the pipe to where it needs to be.
