there are plans to build a 100 million pound mega mosque in london! this will be bigger than st pauls! what would the reaction be if we wanted to build a cathedral in pakistan? copy and paste this there are 7 DAYS LEFT!

More details Submitted by Jill Barham – Deadline to sign up by: 18 July 2007 – Signatures: 165,642 Government Response The e–petition asking the Prime Minister to ‘Abolish plans to build a Ł100 million mega Mosque’ is still ongoing. This is a response from the Government in advance of the closing date. Under planning legislation, local planning authorities are responsible for the day to day control of development in their area. In doing so they are required to take into account all material considerations including the views of interested persons and particularly local communities. With respect to the proposal associated with a site near the Olympic development in Newham, we understand from Newham Council that there is no current planning permission or application for a mosque and Newham Council do not expect a planning application in the near future. The Government believes that where controversial issues such as this arise, all involved should ensure that discussions are conducted in a manner that respects the views of all sections of our communities and in a way that does not raise tensions in local areas.' -- Martin :o)

Maybe if more people had a bit of common sense and less blind hatered then the world might be a better place ... which is not to say i wouldnt wish the death of anyone who wished that on others but lets face it ... "we" as in British/English which ever one u want are not a muslim nation, so why on earth would we want to build one of these bloody things. Now people can believe in whatever they want but DON'T ram it down my throat and also ask me to pay for it!!
