well we r ok at our house but wrossi and thomas are having to stay here tonite as the road to their house is under about 5 foot of water. Thomas was strandard at a hotel after school cos he couldn't get any further so Mark had to go down and rescue him. Loads of roads r closed all over the place. Sandies school is been used as a refugee centre. it took wrossi hours to get here. My mum is just managing to keep the water out of her house in sheffield and marks mum is cut off and one of his sisters is strandard at her friends and the other is having to stay over in a club somewhere cos they r totally cut off. There has been several deaths in sheffield due to the floods. Its really really terrible. Hope there r no more deaths.

most of the floods have now gone from chesterfield but sheffield and rotherham r still under alot of water. the main problem now is the ulley dam, cos they r trying to stop it from bursting they r pumping water out which is fine BUT that water has to go somewhere and it is filling up certain areas. Marks mum is very near that dam but they haven't evacuated them. they r only just keeping the staus of the dam at "stable but critical" cos it is still filling up at the same rate that they r pumping it out. the weather men have said that we r in for some more really bad weather towards the weekend.

We have a family wedding to go to on friday too and the reception is very near to where the 14 year old boy got swept away so i'm not sure if it has managed to stay water free.

I hope everyone is safe. Being here in the desert and 110F heat I wish you could send a portion of your rain this way.
