well bugger me its the longest day of the year already!!!!! arrrrrgggghhhhhh that means the nights will start drawing in again after this! I don't know about u lot but i don't feel like we have had any sort of nice weather yet, apart from the odd day here and there.

we did have a couple of days of good weather but i get what yer saying roe july and august will be better hopefully and we will get the "hottest summer on record" that was promised for this year by the tree huggers who bang on about global warming all the time. if we dont then everyone needs to buy more fuel innificient vehicles and get out and use em, burning fuel like its going out of fashion ( a return to Two stroke tripples would be fun, H2 kawi anyone?).
noticed on the news last night about china is now the biggest pollutor on the planet now.... they are making all the cheap stuff that we demand and contributing (according to the tree huggers) hugely toward global warming, good on em i say... cos i for one am sick of the cold and want a tan.
on a more serious note ....i wont be buying many things with made in china on em from now on (the above bit was a facitious comment) due to another news item about fur from china..... apparently the Euro parliment has just banned the import of certain types of fur from china and anywhere else that exports these particular types of fur.... the fur in question is dog and cat fur. they showed siezed items found in europe one was a rug made from the fur of two adult golden retrievers and a coat made from the fur of 42 (approx) german shepard puppies.
the rug was siezed in denmark and the coat in germany . the germans have been into dog and cat fur for a long time (well they would the sausage eating bastids). the article went on to say about fake fur sometimes not being Fake at all but cat fur.So ....blokes dont often wear fur (well not that i see, oh and im exempt from this as the fur i have is all home grown and mine) but women do , it would appear , like a fur coat so all you dog and cat owning girlies out there dont be tempted by a fur coat it could be tiddles and her siblings yer putting on or in the case of dog fur it could be rover etc.

there was a video of the animals and how they were being kept and treated..... it wasnt nice. there was a couple of cats hugging each other and you could see the absolute fear in the eyes of both of em , they knew what was coming..... the dogs were pathetically wagging their tails thinking that they were going for a walk or summat before some basta rd cut an artery and bled em out. like i said i will be checking where stuff comes from now and will pay the extra for stuff not produced in a country that allows such stuff to go on. Im not usually given to fluffyness but i dont approve of cruelty toward animals for the sake of fashion. fur looks better on the animal it comes from.

totally agree with ya bear. infact it has right upset me and i haven't stopped thinking about it. I have never had fur in my life and i would not ever have it. I remember once seeing a woman in a shop showing off her new mink coat her hubby had just bought her and in not a very nice way i told her what i thought she was. I do remember there been plenty of swearing involved.

All the hippy lot were out and about for dawn up at castleriggs this morn (a local stone circle kinda thing) they were safe as from experience hippys seem to have an aversion to soap and smell of wee ( a bit like old peeps) not a pleasent snack at all..... tis a nuisance us bears need our woods ya know and ya cant get near the trees for bloody tree huggin hippy types (handy for wiping yer butt on but not a lot else ( rabbits arnt daft enough to go into woods).
