most will prob know, but i wanted to say how sorry i am to hear the death of supersport rider Guy Sanders, he was a really nice lad and was a quick rider too, it was a real tragedy and hope his family can somehow cope with there massive loss..

I was at Mondello yesterday working with the medical team. I didnt have anything to do with Guys treatment but i just wanted to say that he would have been given every chance ive never met a more switched on bunch of medics doctors and anaesthetists like the team in BSB, also the rescue teams marshalls etc. what a super bunch of people, a hush came over the track when word came out of the serious nature of the crash, I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to Guys family and friends and to his racing team.
Bronagh xx

just to reply to scully, the guy who is the main doc is i think one of the top neurological surgeons in the country and yeah he would have been given every chance but i was told by some of the riders what happened and there was no real chance it could have been avoided and no way really he could have survived from his injuries, i do think though that Mondello should be removed from BSB cos its one of the worst track surfaces ive ever seen, people started painting the armco barriers on thurs mornin and to be honest some of the marshalls were useless, one of the 125 riders came off and a marshall just stood and watched him on the floor, dont mean to have a rant but when you travel to all other tracks and you see the organisation and facilities elsewhere im afraid mondello is sadly lacking in all departments,

Talk about elitism, any road race is dangerous what ever the country. Try messing about on an alpine pass, that makes the TT and Ireland look like a CBT test!

Talk about it by all means but stop demeaning each other.

Sod it, i have commented on a thread with people i dont wish to talk to!

I cant comment on individual falls Si but id like to point out that there was only one incident officer (head marsalls) there that wasnt English they all travelled over and there was an incident officer at each corner, Sue that was at my corner Irelands was fantastic! she noticed things long before others did ! and dont forget your own safety is first and foremost before the riders so maybe that particular marsall was waiting for a safe gap before going to help! Ive only been to Mondello and Knockhill so im not in a position to comment re the track but maybe constructive comments to the track rather than shut it down altogether would be more helpful! Take care xx Bronagh
