and I had a really confident, smooth, twisty, in-the-correct-gear-for-once-ey, just lovely ride out by myself! I stopped by at my folks house to clean gnats from visor and then just carried on. I really enjoyed it and am starting to feel at home on Gipperz.

i got one of these as a stop gap while the 900 was being sorted out..... am having that much fun on my ratty geepeezee that i still havnt fixed the 9. bit annoyed at its appetite for clutch cables though....two in under 2000 miles. still, all in all a nice wee hooligan tool for the backroads and getting about 65 mpg too which cant be bad

Nearly bought a GPZ500 when they first came out, about £3,000 new if i remember right back in 89 but went for a RD500 instead, lovley bikes though, i always wanted a gpz 900 too but never found the right one at the time. Do kawasaki still produce any GPZ`s ?

Reviving me thread cuz i went all the way to Ilkeston yesterday on Gipperz and had a brilliant ride, totally loved it. Getting my confidence up (tho not too up, I'm still aware I'm only made of jelly and I can't outdo a lamp post)!
Mr ton was up front as sat nav on his tdm!! And it didn't rain, woohooooooo! Good times.
Aren't bikes ace? It does loads to the gallon, can accelerate plenty quick enough to piss off a chav car too. I love it.
