Adz got me thinking with his band and promo so, I've created this thread for everyone to post links to websites for good bands that either haven't yet been signed to record labels or are at the beginning or their careers in the mooosik industry :o)

I'll start off by saying that I saw a band at the Rock and Blues last year called The Brew, very young team of lads from Gainsborough with a superb guitarist (only about 17 yo too!) I brought their CD online when I'd eventually remembered their name (the vodka was flowing a little too well and I couldn't remember who I was let alone anything else lol).

Have a look and listen to some of their stuff:

Nice one Bubbs.

I have got to add two bands, Im keepin it in the family here though so i hope you dont mind.

The first is my brothers band "Absinthe" My brother, Jason plays guitar and i think they have got a great chance of makin things happen. Been goin for a couple of years now. Thery are based in Amsterdam, they are a power trio with Kev from london on vocals and bass, Andy from Wales on drums and my wee bro from Scotland lettin it ripp on the six string, excellent !!! You have just got to check out there video on my space ( the quite ones ) they are pure nutts lol !!!!
CHECK THEM OUT. www.myspace.com/absinthians

The second band is my niece`s band called "khara" Lucy is only 15 now and has been playin music all her life.
Lucy`s dad is Mark ( Guitarist in my band ) and she is deffinetly a chip off the old block.
There is no doubt in my mind that within the next 10 years everyone will have heard of Lucy Mcdonald. She sings, plays guitar, piano, drums writes all her own music and lyrics and is a smart cookie into the bargin.
Please check out Khara on www.myspace.com/kharamusic

Enjoy.
