Well i'm just about to get in bed having not long got back from the Festival ...
The whole event was nicely finnished off by IRON MAIDEN ...
I first saw them 25 years ago !!! still as good :o)
I got right at the front too ...
im absolutely knackered now so am going to bed :o)

Glad you had a great time Martin.
After receiving numerous texts, pictures and calls from friends who were there all weekend..... I MUST go to next years :o)
Velvet Revolver, Wolfmother and Iron Maiden looked and sounded awesome too

Nice one Mart, i saw Maiden on the 7th son tour they were amizing then and recently on tv at the abbey rd sessions, theve still got it in aces eh?
Glad you enjoyed, cant beat a good festival once in a while !!!

'Hippo' Im afraid i didnt manage to see 'Dimmu Borgir'
They were on another stage to a band i wanted to see ...
That is of course the only trouble with 3 stages!
I tended to stick mainly to the main stage cause i like the big open air feel to it ...
Although i will say this ...
I wondered over to the 'Dimebag Darrell' stage on Sunday afternoon and watched on from outside. This stage is a large open sided tented affair with two rows of about 5 supports which spilt the arena into 3 in effect from left to right. This is actually quite a large area!
The band on at the time were called 'Devil Driver' ...
On there last song they had the entire centre section of the audiance part so the the centre section was clear from front to back of the arena! They then set about there last song ... The audiance complied with the bands request and the two sides charged at each other ... think its the biggest mosh pit ive ever seen! roflmfao ... quite amazing!
anyway ...
Hope u enjoy Glastonbury 'Rev' ... just think it'll be raining by then! ;o) lol just jokin ...

Well i'll say this ...
Bruce Dickinson was kinda hinting that Iron Maiden would be having a break after their present tour while they build a new stage set. However he hinted they would be in a field somewhere in England next year!
