Hi all As some of you know I've been on my travels for the past 2 years but now I have to grow up again and come home get a job, pay tax etc etc I am originally from the Wirral but I am considering living in the Oswestry area. I lived in Shrewsbury for a year and that was really nice. Does anyone here live in or around Oswestry (Ellesmere, Wem, NE & E Wales, Welshpool etc) and if so, what is it like (crime, people, for bikes (I think it's good), access to main roads, shops/shopping, scallies, ethnic minorities etc)? hungry_hippo 1300cc Superstar Joined: Monday, November 07, 2005 Posts: 840 Location: warrington United Kingdom	i do,i live in wrexham and have friends that live in the places you mentioned its pretty cool from what i know and have been told to be honest......crimes the same all over the show mate its just how you see it that differs.wrexham's ok ive lived here for a year and a half and never had any trouble of any sort............and its wicked roud here for bikes

There are some great pubs in the area, cracking roads and we're on the doorstep to Wales for longer rides out. There's loads of bikers around here and lots of runs and ride outs organised all year round. If you need to know anything else about the area let me know. Sal :-)

We are just outside Montgomery, just over the border, so between Welshpool and Newtown, and it's great. No crime, except for a bit of sheep rustling, nice people, met some great folks in the 6 months we have lived here, and the roads are excellent!! Couldn't recommend it enough, as long as you don't do shopping!!!

Incidently she and her hubby are into bikes too, so if you see a bloke on a rizla suzuki and a lass on a red sv650 give em a wave....I think my brother in law used to use this forum too, he is under the name or roguetrooper
