Someone has just emailed me this !: Try this it sounds perfect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there for as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax. Each day, you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks. Then try 50-lb potato sacks and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level now!) After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks. -- Calls himself a friend too!!!! l One slap coming up...! lol

Darcey I feel your pain. I have now been off the sauce for two weeks having rashly promised that I would lay off for TWO MONTHS (!!) in a bid to shed at least three of my spare tyres. And this is on top of "eating sensibly". May I borrow one of your corsets, it's quicker and less painful in the short term.

diet what diet I am supposed to be watching what I eat. doesn't do any good. you can watch it all day before you eat it and it still puts on weight. why can some people eat like a horse and not gain a pound whilst others like me just have to look at a mars bar rapper and get fat. maybe you're not supposed to empty the rapper befpre you look at it?

That'll be metabolism fish, if you want to lose weight eat little and often but the right kind of food, and can't say it enough but exersize is the best way to lose weight if you don't do it, you don't burn off nearly as much food.

try the garlic diet, eat whatever food you like and as much as you like, but also eat loads of garlic. after a few days no-one will come anywhere near you, and you will look thinner from a distance.
