my carbs are pourin fuel out of the overflow pipe ive drained them off via the drain holes let em fill back up and restarted the bike its strugglin needs to be really warmed up the engine once warm it runs fine but the fuel is still leaking any ideas? im tryin to get it in a garage for a carb setup will that cure the problem?

Floats sticking, strip them down and clean out all the jets/floats ect.
Get a manual or make sure you photograph everything before you strip it down!

Had the self same problem with a GPz, strip and clean should sort it.
Mind you, so would a match..........

think the carbs are a bit to much for me to deal with been told can do more damage than good (ham fisted) i can break an iron ball lol

sent you a PM detailing what to do. a carb set up wont cure the problem as they do need a strip and clean. however if you do strip and clean em and the problem is cured i suggest getting the carbs balanced by the bike shop. the price for the job of setting the carbs up will be less cos they will have less work to do. Its always worth having a manual for the bike, ebay will have some.good luck.

Def floats/float valve. Not too difficult if you take your time and lots of photos
agree its better to get the garage to balance the carbs afterwards if you're not too sure. The bike will run better for it anyway.
