... last night on ITV? It was talking about peoples property investments and how much money they have made from buying the right property in the right area at the right time. Some family brought a house for Ł1 about 9 years ago and made a 900000% profit pmsl

daisyduke 1300cc Superstar Joined: Saturday, February 04, 2006 Posts: 4574 Location: Bolton United Kingdom	Having previously worked for an estate agent for over 7 years i saw this kind of thing quite a lot, the investors bought the small terraced houses, did them up rented them out and then later sold them on for huge profits thus slowing the housing market down to what it is now as they priced all the young 1st time buyers out of the market and this then has the knock on effect as nobody can afford to move up, even new builds are now being bought off plan by these investors,

I'm not jealous at all! pmsl
