Why is it that everyone in this world is false.
Ive always gone out of my way to help people but always get kicked in the teeth, ive always told the truth and tryed to help when i can, i always have time for a friend no matte what time of night or day and some of you know that is true.
Ive been woken by the phone at 3am in the morning by a friend and always had time for them, even when im up for work at 6am.
When i was in hossy, all the friends came out of the wood work and was very concerned about be, i think it is just because they think they have to do there piece, but when i come out of hossy and when i really needed it they all disapear.
Maybe it just made them feel good, im never like that i have and will continue to be a strong friend no matter what has happened.
Maybe people are frightened to see me, and dont know what to say, ive been out of hossy for over 8 months now, and out of you all friends, how many can say they have come and see me.
8 months is a long time, and surley there would be a hour in that time to help a friend. Even though i text to them, they dont text back, what is a text 10 pence?
Just goes to show that i friend in need, is left alone.
Sorry
Mike

too right people are false...... they all got their own little agenda going on and they sure dont give a rats arse for you or anyone else. all they want out of life is as much as they can get their hands on and if it happens they need to walk all over you, lie and cheet to get it then fine, thats what they will do....... get over it, whoever it was screwed with your head to make you post your thoughts just walk away from them, they are scum and not worth bothering with. get a life and live it and dont waste your time wondering why others are acting the way they are, they aint worth the time.

mike .......... it depends if u r talking about "proper" life long friends u have OR people u speak to over the internet. if its the latter then y r u even classing them as friends u hardly know them. i think this is a mistake u all make, u may speak to people on a regular basis u may even meet up from time to time but to my mind until u spend alot of time with them u can't class them as "friends" they r certainly not people u should bank on cos they owe u nothing and u don't owe them anything either. if your entire friendship cycle is based on people via the internet then u need to get out more and make real friends in the real world.
i know u have been through alot but guess what loads of us have, but if all your conversations r woe is me then that starts to get to people cos u can only say "oh dear nevermind chin up, things will turn around" so many times.
i'm sorry if this sounds harsh but i have seen this so many times. people think they have met "good friends" over the internet and i'm sure some of u have, but u can't say that for all u have met or spoke to. what i'm saying is becareful use these people for company if thats what u want but stop been under the illusion that u r "proper friends" and they will be there for u no matter what cos thats not the case, u will either find out they r not friends or even worse u may have given them money or helped them out and guess what u'll not see em again.
the internet and places like this r supposed to be fun ........ thats what it was designed for BUT things change, people get involved and when that happens the shit can hit the fan. this is not and was never desgined to be some sort of agony aunt place, altho that is what it seems to have become cos u all say such private intimate things on here that u really should keep to yourself cos its no one elses business.
if u was a new person looking at this forum u would think it was so depressing and thats unfair cos we have had some fantastic times on here. use the forum for fun stuff things that make people laugh and smile or even stuff u can debate but not things that make u go oh god i'm off. think about it cos at this rate there will be no one left to talk to!

Roeby has avery valid point there, think it is about time people started keeping their lifes private and getting it all sorted on here lets bring back the good old days where it was fun. Both Roeby and mark do a great job free of charge within their own time, i know how much effort it take for one of these ive known our wb guy be at it untill silly o clock in the morning at work. and thats just a basic website not a forum of any sorts.
i come on here to have a laugh and meet some peeps now and again. and who knows if i meet a great mate out of it then cracking even better if they become lieflong mates.
We all get messed about in life, is part and parcel of the human nature unfortunately.
but you just pick yourself up and get on with it, only person who can do it is yourself regardless of what you think you are owed, none of my good freind owe me nothing, but id do anythign for them, thats what freinds do.
Even some folk on here iid do anythign for, as ive made some great freinds of here. through here,. but is stillmeant to be fun. come on put a silly post make each toher smieladn let the day fly by.

Too many can be false, and? Thats life, simple as.
Many have taken this far too seriously, myself for one! Yes there are great friends to be made, and a lot of acquaintances. As suggested before only a "few" will hold you in good stead and return the friendship offered. Many others will not, once again thats life.
Enough of being serious, as suggested a silly post...............................
I`m off swimming, warn Greenpeace i`m not an endangered species in need of being hit on the head and dragged off to Iceland, and I don't mean the cheapskate supermarket!!!!!

What a day........
Copy of letter sent
At your swimarama in Northolt I was greeted with respect and courtesy by your employees. They took payment from me for two children and one adult. At no time were restrictions mentioned. On entering the pool area
My two sons and I began to swim from the 3.5 metre deep end to the shallow end. After progressing a length a lifeguard asked if my youngest son (10 yrs old) would do a 25 metre timed length and one minute water tread or he would not be allowed to swim in the main pool. At no time was there any mention of this requirement or any warning notice to the said affect. My suggestion that separating myself from one of my sons (as it was requested my youngest used the pool 1 metre deep) was a breech of parental responsibility, was met with pure derision from someone whom has only recently learnt to shave by the look of him. I did mention I hold life saving certificates and that as a parent I was unlikely to allow my son to drown. He however did his job and said we were not allowed to swim together. After asking for the duty manager I was informed my son was unable to swim, so I asked him as he was now in the 1 metre pool to swim over, apparently that was not good enough! I then asked why there was no notification of these rules and why parents were not allowed to swim with their children, to no avail. I then requested a refund and was refused. After telling the duty manager I wanted a refund and your details to make a formal complaint i was given a business card, and a refund. Also a safety notice which mentions nothing about this restriction on children in the pool area. The duty manager even commented on this fact. Your web site comments on having young children using your facilities for learning and pleasure, yet when we arrive we find all diving boards shut and the water slide, the main attraction closed. Then we are not even allowed to swim together. I look forward to your reply as i find your policy's rather difficult to understand. This is my formal complaint and a copy will be held to submit to the local authority if this matter is not dealt with efficiently.
Total health and safety gone mad, they assume its safer my children are not near me but in two separate pools..........!!!! Work that one out!
Look forward to the reply, and maybe the car park expenses incurred refunded, plus the compensation for the look on my children's faces as we left the pool as we were not able to be in the same pool at the same time.
Annoyed!

if your son couldnt swim (although im presuming he can from the letter) putting him in the 1m pool wont exactly make much of a difference. Its very easy to drown in a baby pool (almost done it myself and ive got my lifeguard certificate thingie) so 1m isnt really going to help. Also, im pretty sure the law states that children under 12 or something must be accompanied by an adult... so surely they wouldnt be accompanied by you if they were in a separate pool.... so thereby breaking the law?
hummmmm

Actually the regulations state a child under 8 has to be accompanied. Once again their signage was not quite correct. This caused me more mirth when i said Kyle was 10! So according to their rules he was still allowed to swim, or not according to the interpretation. Think thats a bugger to work out? Try explaining DD243 or EN50131 to customers!
