Just started looking at bikes and I'm torn between the TL and SV 1000 (S).
Anyone ridden both? If so, what are your views on better handling, etc, etc?
For me the advantage of the TL is that is alot cheaper, but I know that finding a good one will be hard.

Ive never rode the sv 1000 but i have always admired them and would consider a test ride with a veiw to buy in the future.
A bit predictable sorry, but why dont you buy a bandit 1200? You can pick up a very clean one for under 3k and with all the torque and power you can shake a stick at they are hard to beat !!

OK if not a Harley [and the new ones like I got aint tractors] then go for the Bandit 1200..... I had one a few years back, ace machine, totally mental, bung a loud can on it and go frighten those car drivers. lol

Tried the firestorm and wasn't keen.
I want a big throbbing twin between my thighs, so that's a no to the bandit (althought great bikes, not what I'm looking for).
Looks like it's the SV then :o)
Cheers guys, I'll post pics once I've purchased one :oD
xx
