Hi I'm posting a thread for all you who know about your specs from older bikes.. Here's the dilemma.. Buildin a trike with a BMW 7 series 1978 BIKE ENGINE(R100S) .. it has a BMW 5 Series gear box and clutch.. Ok heres the dilemma... The spacers between the Pressure plates and the friction plates in the clutch are missing... BMW want stupid money for each one to import the from holland so in true build it yourself trike style we're gonna make them instead. (Screw BMW and thier high prices!) PROBLEM.. Does anyone know the dimensions we need? We need the thickness of each plate and if possible the diameter too (but with the latter wer'e prepared to wing it ) Pleeease help ! Come on all you lot who know about your oldies.... get yr thinking caps on for this one ....:) ANY help with this is REALLY appreciated x
