FFS!..........My bike is up for its MOT tomorrow,so,I was doing all the final adjustments and got a new rear tyre on.Washed the bike as its been hibernating and took it out our gateway.
I pinned the throttle and the rear end stepped out and the bike low sided me,DAM!
Thank God for crash bungs!
Only damage I had was a scratched bar end and a little scuff on the pipe and a small part of the corner of the mirror dropped out which I have now all repaired.
The bike slided around 15 ft up the road.Got away with minor friction burns on my leg and elbow so I didnt hurt myself.
I now know never to do that again!
If I didnt have crash bungs,Id now be getting ready for some major body and engine repairs.Glad I invested in them, cheap at £15 of ebay I would say.Saved a lot of grief and cursing!
