the forcasters wernt lying yesterday when they said it was gonna be a bit windy durin the night. i got woken up around 2.30 am to an almighty clatter from outside, curious i had a look out the window and my bike was on its side, now its a big heavy old bus so it must have been a bloody strong gust to push it over.
so on with a pair of jog pants and reced down the stairs and picked it up before all the petrol leaked out then 10 mins rearanging the bike so as the wind would hit it from behind instead of broadside on then back to bed.
damage was fairly limited a snapped off bar end weight and some scuffing to the crash bars...... oh and my nice new exhaust now has a bloody scuff on it all the way down to the metal, bastid weather!!!!
To windy to do anything to the bike today (didnt fancy the bike landing on me as i put the new oil cooler on) so am hoping the forcasted snow dosnt happen as im gonna need to get the bike sorted ASAP in case of interviews etc.... it never bloody ends does it?

i was a bit worried bout me moped flyin off wizard of oz style
so i hardly slept all night but it was still ther in the morning i think it saw my bike and thought that i dont need it yet and saw yours and thought you needs so it went for yours just to piss you off

Yes! we ve just had snow...Sorry to hear about your bike Bear. Spent all night awake waiting for the trees to crash on the cottage again.. Have a rookery in the wood and blow me the nests were still there this morning ..They must have felt they were riding a trebuchet..bless em!

Hmm there was a slight dusting of snow where i work this morning ...
But that is right on top of the North Downs above Dover!
No snow where i live but a bit chilly and blowing a bit!
It was bloody blowing a bit yesterday too here ...
I took a walk out across the bay ... eeeeek! very windy it was!
