well today my SIA license was confirmed as approved and according to them i will have my nice new shiney doorman ticket in the next few days....only took em about 10 months !!! so i will be sending out loads of spec letters and applications and hopefully i will get some employment out of it. (pissed up chavs beware lol)
on another less happy note though i broke my oil cooler when trying to fit a new oil line (the nut had siezed and when i gave it a bit of pressure on the spanners the whole thing buckled and split...... ARSE!!!!
long shot but if you have a spare oil cooler from a yam xj900 (87 -96) and the lines or know of someone that has i would be interested and have some cash sitting to pay for it. done the usual ebay search and one with partfinder.... shudder to think what a new one would cost though as the actual oil lines themselves cost 75 quid a pop! eeeeek. cheers peeps and to top it all i found a breakers yard with the part i need too at 80 quid and its just down the road from me as well so the XJ will be sorted by sunday whoooo hooo . things may be looking up!
