don't know if anyone has one of these supermarkets near them but apparently they have some right good deals on bike clothing and accessories. I saw an advert on telly don't know how long its on for but it might be worth a look for anyone needing some gear.

most of the stuff from lidl is very good quality the reason its so cheap is the bulk buying policy and the fact that they dont go for fancy display's ect. each store will only have a certain amount of the items. i got my gloves from them last year and they are great.... put it this way if your in need of some cheap stuff buy some if it lasts a year you havnt lost much. i also got the intercom system for a fiver last year and a tank bag. this week im skint so cant get some of the stuff i was going to get like the battery charger 6V and 12V for 4 .99 the boots for 14.99, and there was summat else bt i cant remember off hand.the offer will only last as long as it takes to sell the items ie once its gone its gone till next time they have a sale.
oh and froog hit it on the head when he said its cos everyone else rips us off....
aldi are doing something similar (bike gear) soon. check out their website for details.
