just watched on the BBC website a baby Rhino been born in England and there were twin giraffes born in a french zoo this week too. awwwwwww they were all sooooooooooo cute, unfortunatly for the rhino they don't stay cute but the giraffes do lol

i dont like zoo's animals should be in the wild not in cages. i can however see the point in keeping some of the rarer animals in captivity so as to try and breed em but only if they plan to release em into the wild at some point (raised with as little human interferance as possible etc). it would also be quite helpfull if certain governments would actually do something about animal poachers (hang or shoot the feckers).

must admit i dont like zoo's for that same reason bear, although have to say i have taken my kids (when little) to see the animals, after all it highly unlikely im gonna go on safari or anything like that, and when the baby fluffy critters are born they are kinda cute.
