Yaaaaaaaay I got my license back (after the old siezure thingy) last Friday. I would have posted before now but I've been out driving everywhere!! Unfortunately funds won't stretch to a new bike just yet but it's on the cards for the future!
Then...............today......................I only bloody well let the front wheel of my little car fall off the edge of a rough road - resulting in my skidding in the wet and losing control. Really shaken me up. Didn't hit anyone and wasn't speeding but blimey it was hairy for a moment. Trying not to let in knock my confidence it was just unfortunate. I did all the right things at got control back quite quickly but I'm having to indulge in a large whisky and some reassurance from Mr Ton that it could have happened to anyone (poor bugger was in the car at the time)!
Still, been waiting for my license for ages, will take things nice and steady for a while and am sure I'll be all good to ride a bike soon.

Good news indeed, great feeling to be back on the road eh? I lost my licence some years back through totting up (4 sp30s) i was reduced to pedal power for 6 months. Nightmare !!!
