Mike has been in an accident on his bike yesterday involving a car. I don't know all the particulars of the accident. I do know that he is in intensive care and might possibly lose his left leg. I know he was conscious at some point because he asked that Scott and I be contacted but we are not allowed to visit him just yet because we are not family. I'll keep you all posted...... Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Connie

Hello Its Mikes Mum here. Just thought it was about time you heard some GOOD NEWS from me instead of doom and gloom. Mike is improving every day, infact he is doing so well he has had the drips and drains removed, is off the morphine and telling me hurry up and get the house ready for him to come home. He even said that he will have to figure out a way to get to the IOM TT next year as he paid his deposit as a bike and rider, that maybe he'll get a trike instead. As he put it ' it will carry more camping gear'. He gets his wheelchair Monday so thats his first set of wheels to get him starting if he can't get a trike I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't put a bike engine and exhaust on his chair and go in that. We are expecting him to be moved off intensive care to a normal ward sometime over the weekend. When I know which ward and visiting times I will let you know so anyone close enough who wants to visit can.
