Just thought of an even better one.....
If you have afro or curly hair (like me) if you are going anywhere on the bike and intend to take your lid off, make sure that you've straightened your hair!!
There's nowt worst than pulling up and taking a lid off to a mass of curly mess with little bits sticking out everywhere!
Also make sure that you're wearing a good bra girls, it it get's too hot riding with a t-shirt on you can take it off and ride just in bra and leathers pmsl
Oh and a nice pair of knickers..... ya know just in case lol

Slightly off subject, but when I was 13 I had a major horse riding accident and was wearing odd socks. I was slipping in and out of consiousness and vividly remember the nurse saying to me "nice socks!". Since then I always wear my best undies just in case lol
Another suggestion....... if you had long hair never wear a ponytail as it gets all knotted, wear a plait or plaits for the school girl just got off a bike look ;)
