In your profile there is an option for Sig Line. Up to now this has not done anything. Now the sig line is appended to all your forum posts.

Perhaps use a HR tag instead of '--'

Anybody wanting to put a solid line above their sig, add the following before any text in your sig: <hr>

Hi TC, I used the double hyphen out of habit. Usenet format as per rfc3676. It is a nice and easy way to seperate the body of the message and the signature for the preview of the threads on the home page and the forum list otherwise it would start to look messy.

Maybe you should not enter the sig with the message. Most sites just link to the sig when the thread is viewed. So if i had to change my sig, it woulyd reflect in all m previous posts. That way you can also leave the sig out if necessary.

Again, not trying to tell you how to build your site. Just putting some ideas forward that i think may help. Just ideas, use them, dont use them, up to you. BTW, sites looking good.

"Maybe you should not enter the sig with the message." I decided to save the signature with the message really just to reduce the number of joins I had to do and therefore the number of database queries. It also has something to do with another idea I have for the forum... but that will come later.
