Ox i remember that poppin candy, it was ace apart from the fact everyone used to walk round with their tongues hanging out so you could listen to it crackle lol.
As for the ciggies 10 No.6 and a book of matches were 11p, that was back in 1973, oh and a bus ride into town was 2p but used to walk so i could get a packet of crisps instead, eeeee by gum them were the days

hula hoops (not the crisps) they were great and they kept u fit! i used to have 3 one going round my waist and one on each arm.
who remembers throwing 2 or 3 tennis balls up against a wall lol ....... i did that for hours

jacks (power ball and some little cross metal thingummies!)
leg warmers (FAME! soooooooo sad!)
texan bars (would pull ya fillings out in an instant)
fruit salads (mmmmmm way better than black jacks!)
parama violets (tasted like perfume)
sherbet fountains (never liked the liquorice!)
roller skates (we were poor so had strap on ones not roller boots! :( ! )
the elastic thing was called french elastic or french skipping
and disco/space dust used to give me a headache give me rainbow dust everytime, made ya tongue go a funny colour!
