my car has been playing up (not starting first time) so it went in to the main BMW dealers to get sorted. picked it up started first time, great i thought its done ......... nope by the next day it was at it again, so back to BMW we went. sorted again (apparently) started first time by the next day same old story, so off we go again. fixed again (alledgedly) but by day 2 its at it again. so off we go again, they have had it over nite this time so off i go this morning to fetch it, cos they have fixed it, it didn't even start at all!!!!!!! so i made the guy come out and try it himself .......... very red faced he was full of apologises, so now it is still with them and cos its the weekend they have it until at least monday. Now first couple of times i didn't mind so much cos they gave me a brand new 3 series to drive round in but this time they have given me a poxy 1 series!!!!!!!!!!!! has anyone drove one or even worse own one? what a pile of sh*t this car is u might as well save yourself a fortune and buy anything else cos it is just full of plastic and its just tacky and what an ugly car to boot!!!!!!!!!!!!! only saving grace is at least its black.
woooooooohooooooooooooooooo got my car back yesterday ........ it starts!!!!! lol
anyway the guy was telling us all about the problems they have had with it ....... it has loads and loads of new parts put in it (they have spent thousands) and they even had one of the main guys from BMW come down to look at it cos they didn't have a clue what was wrong. then whilst stood round scratching there heads one of the mechanics said he couldn't hear a click (apparently there should be one) so they checked some relay or something and there was one of the little pins burnt ........ this part is worth 50p pmsl ........... so they replaced that and everything is fine and dandy .............. they said that they have never ever had this problem b4 ever .......... so i have a feeling that my car is going to be logged in some BMW maintance manual somewhere saying if the car won't start check the cheap parts b4 u cost us a fortune with all the other ones!!!!!!!!

yeah but the garage gets paid for all the work by BMW so of course they are going to do as much as they can under warranty. they take very little profit from the sale of cars cause they know they will make their money on warranty work
