yeah i was in the supermarket at the weekend and there was an asian couple with the bloke in western dress and the wife in full burkah eyes only showing. from what could be seen she was quite young.
then she came past us and very politely said excuse me. in a perfect glasgow accent. obviously born and brought up here!
why the fancy dress?

5 years ago today I was in PO getting my USA travellers cheques when was told a plane had hit WTC went home watched it unfold on TV as the second plane hit Still flew out to do R66 10 days later boy did the yanks toot and cheer at our Union Jacks and St george Flags on back of bikes :-)

couldnt think of what to say really. i remember vividly watching the whole terrible act unfold on sky news /bbcnews i couldnt believe my eyes. i watched the news for getting on for 24 hours that day.
my thoughts are with those who lost friends and relatives on 9/11 five years ago and also with the families who have since lost a loved one in the war against terror.
We will never forget nor will we forgive.

i remember the day 5 yrs, i was only 16 and in 4 days was due to turn 17, it broke my heart and most of the time i sat watching with tears in my eyes. it was a horrible day and 1 that will be remebered by people all over the world, my thoughts are with all those that were affected god bless

5 years ago today, I had taken the day off to do some repairs around the house. I normally dont watch much tv as I can't stand most of the programs on. As it happens, i poured a cup of coffee and sat down on the sofa. I clicked on the TV and my life forever changed! The images I saw are burned into my mind!
I have always tried to give people, reguardless of race, religion whatever, the benefit of the doubt. I know well I may offend some, but as far as I'm concerned if you are Muslim and do not openly denounce and condemn this and other acts of blatant terrorism, then you have no right to the air on this planet! The Liberal asshat, PC, politico crowd would have us all bend over backwards to prevent "offending" the Muslim community. Well, I take offense at their trying to convert me or kill me! Mark my words! This is only the tip of the iceberg! The only way for free counties to remain so, is to boot out the worthless, professional politicians and install some with enough NADS to do the right thing!
