the thing is with alcohol and i think that this applies to any1, if you and your mates r happy youre gauranteed good nite, but if just 1 of you is down then that brings every1 down n the slightest comment can be taken in the wrong way. n thats how nites out get ruined n people hav sooooo many fights n fall outs. thats how i am n e way

while I was in the army I used to be able to down half a bottle of vodka then go out and down a further 20 pints without any problems. left the army and soon after quit drinking ( it started verging on a habit rather than enjoyment). 5 or 6 pints now does the trick quite nicely on the odd occassion that i do drink.

pmsl kap tea total, i should co co ! not got that smashed since my 25th birthday, got to the point i was seeing treble and the music being played was inaudiable. Nowadays it can range from 4 pints to fall over pint and i agree, company and the laugh you are having counts for a lot.

when i had me heart attack they asked me if i drank ,i siad yes ,next morning a young chap appered at my bed and intoduced himself as the alcohol guidance counciler ,he asked me how often i drank alcohol ,i told him it depended on various things ,normally i took none during the week as i had to go to work ,at the weekends i told him i would normally drink a bott of voddy ,he told me this was far far to much a ten glass bottle of vodka was out off the qyestion , i told him no not a ten glass bott a litre one ,he was not impressed at at all lol,since then ive taken his advice pmsl and now on a weekend u can find me in the room wif a cup of good old earl grey (no sugar off course lol)

Interesting interesting, for me it depends, when england played paraguay (i think thats how ya spell it) i went out at 1pm n finished at 1am, i can drink all day if i take it steady and am in the mood for it, some days though it can take like 4 botles, i s'pose it depends how i feel n what kind of atmosphere im in....

i agree with fred use to be able to down quite a lot but now 5/6 pints is about right for me then i head home ,,,can't handle and don't want to handle the hangovers anymore lol ,,,,plus my mate irishracers girl must be the cheapest to take out for a drink ,,,,,,wait for it this is no bull sh*tting 1 small bottle of bacardi breezer gets her totaly smash ,,,,bloody embarassing you would think eh ,,,,,but cheap night out for him lmao ,,,,shes trying to go the distance now by getting a second bottle down her ,,,god help her lol

In the interests of research - purely scientific you understand - and in the interests of everyones health and well being !!! Me being the kind hearted and public spirited person that I am decided to put this to the the test !!!! Hence - Saturday night saw me in my local hostelry (Hello The Derby Arms :-) )
Ahem - the results are as follows :-
1) In last place cos she dipped out at half past 12 is my mate Mandy - a strictly lager girl but can be persuaded to partake of the odd voddy n coke but aftershocks make her sick cos we found that out on her birthday tee hee !!
2) iIn second place is another mate Ben who dipped out at half past one - a man after me own heart who can down after shock like its sort of goin out of fashion
and der derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - wot a surprise- in first place - romping home in style - well staggerin actually
3) Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - who totally killed 35 squids worth of Jamesons n lemonade with a few aftershocks thrown in
I will now go and save up for the next research session !!!!!!
