Scenario: You are in a job which is not bad, but not really 100% where you want to be. Work environment is good and the people are friendly. An offer comes along offering you a chance the job you want to do, and offering more money. The catch, lose a part of which is your identity due to dress code. (I have long hair, they want me to cut it). What would you do?

bear 1300cc Superstar Joined: Friday, October 29, 2004 Posts: 5790 Location: cumbria United Kingdom	hmmm if someone offered me a well paid job on the condition i cut my hair then i would do it. id get a mohican! daisy yer right about the sex discrimination act here in the uk but proving that an employer was going to give you the job if you cut your hair is going to be impossible to prove. i had an interview for a security guard job a while back and they wanted me to shave my beard off as it was apparently company policy for ALL employees to be clean shaven..... i pissed myself laughing at the interveiwer as he had a beard himself!!!! didnt get offered the job lol. was crap money anyway.
